It's a brand new day and a brand new show for Hank Sinatra Presents the Songwriters Series Internet TV Show. The Songwriters Series gone a lil traditional with Emmy-award winning songwriter, Bob Cheevers. Then we rock it out with the bluesy Meagan Tubb then a lil folksy with songwriter Graham Weber. Tis a great and eclectic show. Keep Watching!

Bayer in Brooklyn - Texanischer Bandwahnsinn Teil 2

Auf der Riverside Farm, weit weg von der hektischen Downtown, haben sich einige Hippies niedergelassen. Neben Ziegen, Hühnern und einem kleinen Teich gibt es dort auch eine Konzertbühne. Dort spielen auch "Peggy Sue & The Pirates". Matthias lässt sich von ihnen den "Anti-Soul" erklären.

What does MTV News Say About Hank's Place.

From animal lovers to real animals — our next stop was the home of Hank Sinatra, a local Austin fixture. He’s a grizzled music lover who’s opened up his suburban Austin home, complete with a tractor, hay, a pen with rescued chickens and a really cool sheep, dogs running around, a keg of 40s and live music. Lots of live music, assembled by my pals at +1 Music. Among those playing on the stage down by Hank’s watering hole were California pop-rockers the Morning Benders, a great jangly ‘60s-influenced quartet who, if there is justice, you will be hearing a lot more from with the release of their debut, Talking Through Tin Cans, in May; their Bay Area brethren Two Gallants; and funky genre-defying U.K. outfit the Heavy, who I last saw about 14 hours earlier onstage at the Playboy party. Seems like a world away from Hank’s place. MTV Newsroom Full Article

Friday. Played a day party on the outskirts of Austin at Hank Sinatra’s farm. Chickens, chicken wire, goats, green grass, rusted 1930s truck door, giant armadillo statue on the wooden outdoor stage. A group called Hymns played and we liked it.

We played a fun and hot sweaty set to a joyful crowd. Carrying gear back up the long hill was exhausting in the 90-degree heat. Iced tea, grilled beef ribs, and good spicy salsa were nice refreshments. Jason, Jim and I got massive sunburns.
